Meet The Trustees

Jenni Willows
Trustee

Born in Essex and raised in Hertfordshire, Jenni moved to Manchester in 1990 to study Fine Art at Manchester Polytechnic. Jenni is an experienced fundraiser and administrator who spent 25 years in the arts and culture sector prior to taking up her current post as Head of Fundraising at Booth Centre, a leading Manchester homelessness charity.  Jenni’s career in the arts began in the basement of Central Library as Financial Administrator of the award-winning Library Theatre Company.  Having become the Company’s Development Manager, Jenni stayed with the LTC as it merged with Cornerhouse and ultimately relocated to HOME on the First Street development. In addition to bringing an understanding of Manchester’s cultural landscape, Jenni is passionately committed to supporting Manchester Libraries’ efforts to be as inclusive as possible and accessible to all of the many communities across the city it serves. With a combined love of Central Library’s architecture and its civic role, Jenni is thrilled to be invited to join the board of the Manchester Central Library Development Trust and looks forward to contributing a small part in its history over coming years.
